A forest fire broke out in the Bergama district of Izmir province at 14:23 local time. The Regional Forestry Directorate immediately dispatched air and land vehicles and firefighting teams to the area, and the fire was brought under control before it spread too much.
It was said that the cause of the fire is not yet known.
