A fire broke out in a forest area in the Biga district of Çanakkale province in Türkiye at around 13:00 local time, covering the sky with black smoke. Upon notification by locals, Çanakkale Forestry Regional Directorate teams were alarmed. The authorities immediately sent air and land vehicles to intervene in the fire, which was rapidly growing due to the wind.
