A forest fire started in an area in the Buca district of Izmir, Türkiye at 11.29 local time. The first response to the fire was made in 9 minutes with 5 helicopters, 2 planes, 19 water pumps, 5 water supplies and construction equipment. The fire was brought under control after about two hours of effort, and firefighters began cooling the fire. Approximately 2.5 hectares of area were affected by the fire.
