Forest fire in South Korea’s capital: 120 houses evacuated

An area the size of 30 football fields turned to ash in the fire that broke out in the forest area in Seoul, the capital of South Korea at around 11.50 am local time. At least 120 houses near the Inwangsan Mountainin were evacuated. No deaths or injuries were reported.

Authorities announced that the fire was brought under control at around 17.00 and was almost extinguished. The cause of the fire is not yet known.
