Forest fires have broken out in several regions of Greece, including near Athens, amid a severe heatwave. In the Corinthia region, wildfires forced evacuations, with two people detained for allegedly starting the blaze. A helicopter fighting the fire in Aspropyrgos crashed into the sea, but the pilots were unharmed. Authorities have called for public help in firefighting efforts.
