Former Filipino Mayor Alice Guo, who disappeared in July after being accused of spying for China and fraud, has been caught and detained in the Indonesian capital of Jakarta.
According to Filipino lawmakers who investigate fraud cases, Guo’s fingerprints match those of a Chinese citizen named Guo Hua Ping, who spies and protects online casinos used as a front for fraud and human trafficking networks in the town of Bamban in the Philippines.
