The “Turkish Flag Exhibition: From Crescent to Crescent and Star” is a special exhibit opened in Galata Tower, an iconic centuries-old structure in Istanbul, to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Republic. The exhibit showcases the historical development of the star and crescent motif in the Turkish flag and features a wax statue of Atatürk, available for viewing until October 30. Galata Tower is a popular destination for both local and international visitors, and it has been enhanced to accommodate more tourists after a 2020 restoration by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism. The exhibition has attracted significant public interest, and Galata Tower’s observation terrace provides breathtaking views of Istanbul, making it a must-visit location. Galata Tower Museum Director M. Murat Bozcu invited everyone to explore the tower and the exhibition.
