Seven-year-old Kinan Abu Jabbeh, who lost his immediate family and his left arm in an Israeli airstrike on Gaza, is urgently waiting for a new prosthetic limb that fits his growing body. The young boy was the sole survivor when his home was destroyed, recalling how he “narrowly escaped death” only to suddenly be “left without a mother, father, and siblings.” Now living in a tent with his grandmother, Kinan struggles with basic daily tasks and requires extensive physical and psychological support. Highlighting the immense emotional toll on the child, his grandmother shared that when told his parents are in heaven, Kinan responds, “Bring them to me, I want to see them.”
