The Palestinian Ministry of Health said the death toll from Israeli attacks since October 7, 2023, has risen to 71,662 after two bodies arrived at hospitals in the Gaza Strip in the past 24 hours. The ministry also reported that a 12-day-old baby died due to extreme cold, bringing the number of infants who have died from cold-related causes to 11. Since the ceasefire took effect on October 10, at least 488 people have been killed, with 714 bodies recovered from the rubble and 1,350 others injured. Health officials said civilian casualties continue to be reported despite the ceasefire.
