Gaza Residents Call for International Support

As Israel’s brutal attacks on Gaza enter their third year, indiscriminate bombardments and a crushing blockade have left 74,250 Palestinians dead and 175,278 injured. The enclave’s population, predominantly women and children, is being subjected to forced displacement, systematic starvation, and genocidal policies implemented by Israeli forces.

Displaced resident Sarah Hamdan condemned the international inaction, asking, “Where are those who said there was a ceasefire? Where are the Muslim leaders?” Authorities warn the actual death toll is substantially higher, as countless victims remain unrecorded beneath the rubble. For the hundreds of thousands deprived of their homes and livelihoods since the bloody war erupted following Hamas’s October 7 attacks, these three years have felt like an eternity.
