The Georgian people began going to the polling stations at 08:00 to determine the parliament in the 11th general election held with the proportional representation system.
According to the results of the election, in which 150 deputies will be determined, the political party or electoral bloc that wins 76 seats in the parliament will be able to establish the government on its own.
The election, in which electronic voting is being used for the first time, will continue until 20:00 local time.
