Supporters of opposition parties that did not recognize the results of the October 26 parliamentary elections, saying that the ruling Georgian Dream Party, which won the elections, rigged the results, and announced that they will not enter parliament, continued their protests in the capital, Tbilisi, yesterday evening, urging for new elections.
The protest, which started at 15:00 local time, disrupted transportation on the main streets of Tbilisi until 19:00.
President Salome Zurabishvili had also stated that she did not recognize the election results after the Georgian Dream Party won with 53.93 percent on October 26.
