german musicians organize benefit concert for earthquake victims in türkiye and syria

A total of 1 million euros were collected at a benefit concert organized by German music groups Die Toten Hosen and Donots and musician Thees Uhlmann to aid people affected by the earthquakes that occurred in Türkiye. Approximately 11,000 people attended the concert, and 1 million euros were collected within 2 hours. The tickets were sold out within about a minute after they were put on sale.

“It’s a terrible event that brings us together here. And it’s not a mourning, it’s a night of the struggle. We are fighting together with every donation,” said Die Toten Hosen vocalist, Campino.
