A Turkish woman who participated in a march in the German capital to draw attention to the violence in Palestine and slammed Germany’s support for Israel was detained by the German police for chanting “Zionism is fascism.” After being released after a short time, the protester, named Yasemin Acar, stated she was going to be sued on the charge of “inciting society to hatred and hostility.”
“Unfortunately, I was arrested again. They give us new bans every week. I wonder what these bans are for. Germany does not want to hear the truth. Germany does not want to hear what is happening in Palestine right now,” said Acar.
