Global Aid Pours Into Venezuela After Twin Earthquakes

A massive international rescue operation is underway in Venezuela after 7.2 and 7.5 magnitude earthquakes killed 235 people and injured over 4,300. Nations across the globe, from Türkiye to El Salvador, are urgently deploying specialized search teams, medical units, and millions in emergency funds. India dispatched military aircraft with 35 tons of supplies “to support post-earthquake recovery efforts,” according to Foreign Minister Subrahmanyam Jaishankar. Additionally, the U.S. has stationed aircraft off the Venezuelan coast to “provide dedicated mobility services and support” as interagency teams race to locate survivors.
