The T625 GÖKBEY General Purpose Helicopter, developed by Turkish Aerospace Industries, has successfully completed cold weather tests in Sweden’s Kiruna region. The month-long tests evaluated the helicopter’s performance in extreme conditions, including thrust, rotary wing, and hydraulic systems, proving its readiness for polar environments.
GÖKBEY completed 60 hours of flight and over 600 individual test points at temperatures as low as -30°C. These tests are part of its civil and military certification process, following the delivery of the first three units.
