Beyzanur Akkuş of Trabzon Metropolitan Municipality Sports Club claimed the gold medal in the women’s 65 kg category at the U20 European Wrestling Championship in Caorle, Italy. Akkuş defeated Russian wrestler Margarita Salnazarian in the final match.
Trabzon officials praised her achievement, stating they will continue to support young athletes and promote sports across the region.
