Greece: at least 150 houses destroyed in on going fires on evia island

At least 150 houses were destroyed in the forest fires that have been continuing for the last 4 days in the north of  Evia Island, Greece. The residents of the island called for the government to take action as no firefighting planes or helicopters have intervened the fires so far. In the touristic town of Rovies, the fires caused both an ecological and economic disaster where animals were killed and forests were burnt out.
