Greek PM Welcomes Turks on Lesbos

Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis greeted the first Turkish visitors to Lesbos Island after visa facilitation was provided for Turks to enter 10 Greek islands. After chatting with the visitors, he made a statement, he stated that the visits contributed a lot to the economy of the islands and that the security agreements made between the two countries reduced the flow of illegal immigration.

Turks can now stay in Lesbos, Chios, Rhodes, Samos, Kos, Meis, Patmos, Leros, Kalymnos and Symi islands for 7 days for 60 euros, which they will pay at the door.
