greek students protesting government over university exams face off police

High school and university students in Greece protested against the government over the change in the new university entrance system. The police prevented students from entering the university buildings, where they were gathered in Propylea Square after the march. Images show a police officer kicking a student during the protests.

According to the new system, students who cannot get 10,000 points in the exams held throughout the country will not be able to enter the university.
