Hail and Storms Wreak Havoc in Australia

New South Wales faced golf ball-sized hail in Rutherford, damaging parked vehicles. Meanwhile, Queensland was hit by a severe storm, causing havoc as power lines and trees succumbed to the strong winds, inflicting significant house damage. Over 100,000 households in Gold Coast, Scenic Rim, and Logan were left without power. A 59-year-old woman lost her life on the Gold Coast due to a fallen tree amidst 105 km/h winds. Another fatality occurred in Victoria’s Moe town, struck by the intense storm.
