Heavy hail fell in the Asir region in southwestern Saudi Arabia. In the video images shared on social media, the hazelnut-sized hail that fell in the middle of summer attracted attention. The Civil Defense Directorate of Saudi Arabia warned citizens to be careful against bad weather conditions and to take precautions against flash floods caused by precipitation. In addition, the authorities urged citizens not to go out on the streets except in mandatory situations.
