Heavy rains, accompanied by lightning, thunder, and hail, lashed Kuwait on Tuesday, disrupting pedestrian and vehicle traffic. The Gulf country will experience sporadic rain from Tuesday afternoon until Wednesday morning, according to Kuwait’s meteorological center.
A polar wave has also affected Saudi Arabia’s Tabuk region, with snow covering most of the wild and mountainous areas, as well as the Haql governate’s Jabal Al-Lawz and Al-Daher mountains. The crisis and disaster management center has urged citizens and expatriates to exercise extreme caution due to the possibility of continued inclement weather in various regions of the Kingdom.
