Hamas Leader Stresses Flexibility in Talks with Israel

Hamas Political Bureau Chief Ismail Haniyeh has stated that while demonstrating flexibility in negotiations with Israel, the group remains prepared for continued conflict. Addressing the ongoing negotiations led by Egypt and Qatar, Haniyeh urged the Arab world to increase pressure and support for Gaza. Speaking in Beirut, he called on Palestinians, the Resistance Axis, and Arab countries to intensify their efforts. Additionally, Haniyeh encouraged Palestinians in Jerusalem and the West Bank to march to Masjid al-Aqsa on the first day of Ramadan, asserting the importance of keeping sacred places accessible to everyone. Haniyeh emphasized that the defense of holy places would involve all forms of resistance, stating, “The siege of Al-Aqsa Mosque and the siege of Gaza are the same. Hamas is showing flexibility in negotiations with Israel, but it is also ready to continue the war.” He criticized Israel, accusing it of causing deaths through starvation and declaring the failure of Israel’s land operation.
