Hamas’ military wing, the Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades, released two Israeli civilians, Arbel Yehoud, 29, and Gadi Mozes, 80, along with five Thai nationals in Khan Younis, in front of the home of slain former Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar. The prisoners were handed over to the Red Cross as part of the ongoing prisoner swap under the ceasefire agreement with Israel that began on January 19.
Earlier, Hamas also released Israeli soldier Agam Berger. In return, Israel is expected to release 110 Palestinian prisoners in the coming hours.
