Hamas’s military wing, known as the Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades, released video footage of an encounter with Israeli soldiers in the Gaza Strip on Sunday, October 29. The video showed Israeli soldiers gathering near the Beit Hanun (Erez) Border Gate in the northern part of the Gaza Strip, and Hamas members emerging from a tunnel and advancing toward the Israeli soldiers’ position. Subsequently, the footage documented both sides exchanging fire, leading to the onset of the conflict.
