Hatay, Türkiye Clears Earthquake-Damaged Roads

 

In Hatay, Türkiye, efforts are underway to repair roads damaged by large rocks following an earthquake. Hatay has experienced significant earthquake-related damage, and the Hassa district was particularly affected. One of the damaged areas is a group road connecting Yeniyapan, Akbez, and Gazeluşağı Districts, which was blocked by massive rocks falling onto it. Hatay Metropolitan Municipality teams are using construction machinery to break down and remove these rocks. Local officials, including Hassa Yeniyapan District Headman Mehmet Teke, have expressed gratitude for the ongoing work, as it helps restore access for affected residents.
