Healthcare Workers Protest Against Israel’s Attacks on Gaza in Istanbul

Healthcare workers’ protests against Israel’s attacks on Gaza continued in Erzurum, Türkiye, on their 51st week. The crowd, who gathered in front of Lala Mustafa Pasha Mosque, marched to Yakutiye Madrasah carrying banners.

“The occupying Zionists continue to attack hospitals and our colleagues in Gaza. As a result of an attack by the murderers who targeted the pediatric intensive care unit of Kemal Advan Hospital, one of the few institutions in Gaza where healthcare services can be provided, serious damage has been caused to the intensive care unit. Fifteen patients cannot undergo surgery due to the lack of sufficient physical facilities and the detention of surgeons. The murderous network, not content with the crimes against humanity they have committed in Gaza, has now targeted the El-Masna border gate between Syria and Lebanon. These actions show that Israel will continue to show the audacity to attack any target that stands in the way of its own dirty ambitions without any principles. Their international partners, who have haunted the Turkish state and nation, deserve only to die at the feet of their elder brothers whom they “serve” or to rot in prison with the determined stance and will of our state. Nothing else is conceivable,” said Ahmet Talha Yer from the Faculty of Pharmacy in his speech.
