Hearing for Eylem Tok in US Extradition Case Postponed

The extradition hearing of Eylem Tok, mother of Timur Cihantimur who killed a man in Türkiye in a car accident, at the John Joseph Moakley Courthouse in Boston, USA, has been postponed. Judge Donald L. Cabell ruled to extend Tok’s detention, granting the defense an additional week. A final decision is expected after this period.

Tok, appearing stressed during the hearing, requested bail, but the judge deferred the decision pending further evidence review. Tok, who has reported health issues, including epileptic seizures, had her previous request for release denied due to flight risk concerns.
