The Black Rock Desert, where the Burning Man festival has been held since August 27 in the US state of Nevada, turned into a swamp after heavy rains. Thousands of participants have been stranded in the festival area, which hosted around 80,000 people. State officials stated that they hope that the vehicles stuck in the mud will be able to move in the evening when the roads dry.
Authorities stated that the death incident at the Burning Man festival yesterday was not affiliated with the adverse weather conditions. The investigation into the incident continues.
