Torrentail rain caused flooding in the province of Gard, in the south of France, and 1 person gone missing. Part of the A9 motorway between Nimes and Montpellier was closed to traffic, and rail traffic between the two cities was also interrupted. 900 firefighters continue their search and rescue efforts all across the province.
