Heavy Rainfall in Mexico kills 5

Heavy rainfall caused flooding in Mexico City and the state of Mexico, resulting in infrastructure damage and casualties. In Alvaro Obregon, 52 homes were damaged, while in Chimalhuacan, a university student, a three-year-old child, and a motorcycle driver lost their lives in separate incidents. Some metro stations were also flooded, impacting transportation. In Mexico City, heavy rain caused loosening ground, resulting in the death of two workers and injury of another.
