Heavy Rains Trigger Deadly Floods and Landslides in Bangladesh

Heavy rains in Bangladesh’s cities of Sylhet, Habiganj, and Sunamganj caused widespread floods and landslides. Three people lost their lives in the floods, and four others were injured. Thousands were stranded as streets turned into lakes. The Surma River’s water level rose above 133 centimeters, damaging agricultural lands.
