Heavy Snow Kills At Laast 4 in South Korea

Heavy snowfall in South Korea has resulted in four deaths and 11 injuries. A 53-vehicle pileup in Wonju caused by icy roads left several injured, while structural collapses in Pyeongtaek and a parking lot claimed two lives.

The Korea Meteorological Administration reported snow depths of 40.2 cm in Seoul’s Gwanak district and 27.1 cm in Seongbuk. The severe weather has disrupted travel, with many vehicles stranded overnight. Authorities continue efforts to mitigate the impact as snowfall persists.
