US Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth toured the Demilitarized Zone (DMZ) dividing North and South Korea and later met South Korean Defense Minister Ahn Gyu-back in Seoul. The two discussed alliance issues, including US troop flexibility, Seoul’s bid to regain wartime command, and possible US nuclear submarine support.
