Hezbollah Fires 160 Rockets into Northern Israel

Hezbollah launched 160 rockets into northern Israel, escalating tensions between the two sides. The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) reported that Hezbollah first fired 90 rockets, some intercepted by defense systems, while others caused damage. A subsequent barrage of 70 rockets mainly landed in open areas, resulting in no casualties. Warning sirens blared across Israel. Hezbollah claimed to target military sites, including Meron air base and Amiad camp. In response, an Israeli attack on Lebanon killed four Hezbollah members, including a senior commander.
