The roof of the Fengyang Drum Tower in China’s Anhui Province collapsed on May 19, causing panic among tourists but no injuries. Built in 1375 during the Ming Dynasty and rebuilt in 1995, the tower had been under maintenance due to structural concerns. Authorities have launched an investigation.
