Historical Bridge Survives Tokat Earthquake

While the 5.6 magnitude earthquake that occurred in the Sulusaray district of Tokat province of Türkiye caused damage to a total of 191 residences in three districts and 30 villages, the 2 thousand-year-old Sulusaray bridge from the Roman period survived the earthquake undamaged.

Six earthquakes with magnitudes greater than 4 occurred in Sulusaray district of Tokat in the last 2 days.
