Historical buildings and statues in the city of Lviv, the target of attacks by Russia, are covered with sponges and tarpaulins. The statues on the historical opera house in Lviv are also wrapped and protected by firefighters.
Ukrainian citizen Markian stated that he was very worried about what happened and said, “I am very sorry for what happened. The historical Lviv Opera House, which was built in 1903, is being closed before our eyes. The artifacts inside are very valuable. Therefore, teams are closing them to protect them from bombs as much as possible.”
