It has been revealed that a 2,744-year-old historical shrine, called the shrine of Hazrat Khidr, was also destroyed in Eastern Ghouta, where almost every structure became unusable after the bombings of the Assad regime in Syria.
“This is a very old shrine. It has been here since 720 BC. This is the shrine of Hazrat Khidr. These lands were destroyed by the war. These things happened as a result of Assad’s bombing of these places. All this debris you see is because of the regime. All the houses and mosques here were looted and robbed by the Assad regime,” said a Syrian named Mejd El Haldi.
