Candles were lit for the “Holy Fire” ceremony at the Church of the Holy Sepulcher in Jerusalem’s Old City yesterday. On the final Saturday before Easter, according to Eastern Orthodox Christians, the ‘Holy Fire’ emerges from the Tomb of Christ inside the Church of the Holy Sepulcher.
On the other hand, Easter will be celebrated by Orthodox Christians all around the world today.
