Hope fading for sailors on ship sunk in Thailand

Search and rescue efforts for 17 sailors who were lost, and identification works for 6 of the 12 people who died after the incident that a Thai navy with a crew of 105 sank in the Gulf of Thailand last Sunday continue on the 6th day.

A funeral ceremony for the 6 soldiers was held last Thursday at Sattahip Military Base.

The ship, which sank to a depth of 40 meters, will be removed within the scope of a 100 million Baht worth operation after the entire crew are reached.
