US Central Command (CENTCOM) reports that Iran-backed Houthis in Yemen attacked a Liberian-flagged ship, operated by a Greek company, in the Red Sea. The ship was hit using an unmanned surface vehicle (USV), causing damage to its engine room and water intake. Additionally, Houthis launched two anti-ship ballistic missiles in a separate attack. Houthi military spokesman Yahya Saree claimed the attack was in response to the ship violating a ban on entering Palestinian ports. No injuries were reported in either incident.
