Humanitarian aid from Turkey delivered to war victim families in Syria

Within the scope of the “Be Food for the Hungry” campaign launched by Safranbolu Yağmur Aid Association, flour, blankets, coal and boots delivered to the war victim families who struggled to survive in the harsh winter season in Syria’s Idlib region. The association, which Afrin martyr Infantry Petty Officer Senior Sergeant Ömer Bilal Akpınar had bequeathed to donate 10 percent of his martyr’s salary to, distributes bread to 1.200 families in the region every day. The collected aid is distributed to the needy staying in the camps in Idlib.

Head of the Association, Zehra Söylemez said that they took a truckload of flour with the support of the donators. Söylemez said the aid campaign they started will continue until January 31, and pointed out that the people in Idlib are in a very difficult situation.
