Humza Yousaf takes office as Scotland’s new Prime Minister

Humza Yousaf, who was elected the new leader of the Scottish National Party (SNP) in February, was sworn in at a ceremony held at the Supreme Court today, and began his duty as the country’s new prime minister. The 37-year-old PM will announce the cabinet soon.

Humza Yousaf has become the country’s first Muslim prime minister.
