Hurricane Beatriz struck western Mexico, causing severe damage in Mazatlan. The city experienced heavy rainfall, leading to flooded streets and transportation disruptions. Tragically, a 25-year-old man drowned while attempting to surf during the storm. Rescuers saved 30 people stranded on a city bus. In Queretaro, extensive flooding covered most of the city and damaged roads. Tizayuca saw 105 houses flooded. The Mexican National Meteorological Service confirmed that Hurricane Beatriz has weakened and will lose its effect soon.
