iftar at 200 meters on top of crane tower in istanbul

In the last days of Ramadan, adrenaline junkie, a young man named Pavel Smirnov and his friend decided to have iftar at the 46-storey tower crane in Istanbul. Two crazy friends who climbed the tower of the Yavuz Sultan Selim Bridge in the past years, this time had iftar at a height of 200 meters on the crane they climbed in Ataşehir. Climbing the tower with bare hands without taking any security measures, the young people defied death. The adrenaline-filled moments were captured by a drone.

Adrenaline lover Pavel Smirnov said, “We wanted to have iftar by watching the sunset from high in Istanbul. There is a part in the crane, it is blocking because I have a bag. The part on the outside of the crane without any security measures is more adrenaline-filled and more enjoyable. The feeling at the top of the crane is completely different, you are completely independent, no precautions. You feel the freedom. It is pleasant to watch the sunset. Everything is the same on the ground, it is different to watch from above, and it makes one question one’s life.”
