“Today, the Russian Armed Forces continued to carry out intense bombardment of Ukraine’s military administration and energy system facilities with air and sea-based high-precision weapons. The purpose of the bombardment was achieved. All designated facilities were hit.” Igor Konashenkov, Ministry of Defence Spokesperson of Russia, said in a statement.
Konashenkov stated that the Russian army repelled the attacks of the Ukrainian army and that the Russian army killed 40 Ukrainian soldiers and destroyed vehicles of the Ukrainian army that was aiming to advance to the settlements in Kharkov and Luhansk.
Konashenkov also stated that the attacks of the Ukrainian armies in the Donetsk and Zaporozhye regions were also repelled, and more than 30 Ukrainian soldiers were killed. The Russian army also killed more than 20 Ukrainian soldiers as the Ukrainian army was trying to pass through the Jerebets River.
“The ammunition depot of the American HIMARS multiple rocket launcher system was destroyed in the Predtechino settlement in the Donetsk People’s Republic. Russian Aerospace Forces shot down a Mi-24 helicopter of the Ukrainian Air Force near the village of Maryanskoye in the Dnipro region. In the operations launched by the Russian army since February 24, 318 aircraft, 160 helicopters, 2,195 unmanned aerial vehicles, 379 anti-aircraft missile systems, 5,639 tanks and other armored vehicles, 868 multiple rocket launchers, 3,465 mortars and 6,483 private military vehicles of Ukraine were destroyed.” said Konashenkov
