Polish Administration of the Customs and Finance officers in Pruszkow city of Poland stated that they seized crocodile skins inside of the 2 boxes that send from US. In the search that carried out in the boxes containing used clothes, officers have found 42 pieces of crocodile skin and a large number of wallets made out of material resembling crocodile skin.
The Warsaw Tax Administration Chamber Spokeswoman Justyna Pasieczynska pointed out that the boxes were mailed to 2 different names but to the same address. Pasieczynska underlined that the trading of the seized crocodile skins is illegal according to the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES). Pasieczynska said investigation has launched regarding the incident.
