The local government in India’s Puducherry region has launched a vaccination campaign aimed at vaccinating 100 percent of the population. Health workers arrived at the Konnenrikuppam village as part of the campaign to vaccinate locals. However, a man escaped from the workers and climbed a tree to avoid being vaccinated. The health workers failed to vaccinate him after trying to persuade the man to get the jab.
